About the Event

As we welcome 2026, we also enter filing season and the realities of working with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). The Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (DCCP), together with Manila Bookkeepers, will host a session to help companies start the year with practical guidance on staying compliant.

 

This session will focus on preparing for Q1 audits by ensuring clean and organized records ahead of filing. The discussion will cover common audit triggers such as incorrect expense tagging, missing documentation, weak digital recordkeeping, and issues in reconciling sales, purchases, and payroll. Participants will also be introduced to internal control templates and anonymized case examples that show how small lapses can lead to costly findings.

 

The event aims to provide practical steps that businesses can easily apply, showing how the “Manila Bookkeepers way” helps make audit compliance smoother and less stressful. We expect around 60 participants, including…
