About the Event
Sustainability is now a key factor in infrastructure projects in the Philippines. With Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices gaining importance, the government and the private sectors are encouraged to implement global standards to address local needs.
The Philippines’ Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework plays an important role in overseeing major projects in the Philippines under the current administration. As such, it is important to understand how ESG principles can be embedded in PPPs from planning and design to its implementation.
This roundtable will feature experts from the PPP Center and Arcadis, combining government perspectives with private sector expertise. The PPP Center will present upcoming PPP projects, outline bidding requirements, and discuss how ESG criteria are applied in these projects. Arcadis will share insights from their Road to Net-Zero – ESG Blueprint and Sustainability reports, highlighting best practices for ESG based on their experience, projects, and services.
