About the Event
Last January 31, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines – Davao organized the first logistics business conference in the Visayas-Mindanao Region that tackled logistics bottleneck, demographics, characteristics of the market, and opportunities in the Visayas and Mindanao Region. One of the problems identified is the high shipping cost. To make businesses in the Philippines efficient and competitive, business community perceives the need to review the Cabotage law that has the intention of enhancing Philippine competitiveness in international trade and lowering the cost of shipping cargo to and from the Philippines.
DCCP Members are invited to join the second series of Business Conference on Logistics organize by the ECCP, in partnership with the All Transport Network, the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce, the British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, on 24 July from 1:30pm-4:30pm. The guest panelist of this conference are the experts and stakeholders from freight forwarding companies, importers and exporters and representatives from airports, terminals and customs, as they will discuss the concerns per industry in terms of logistics.
